Who is eligible to participate in the discount program?
Members of participating credit unions are eligible for the Credit Union Member Discount from GM. An eligible credit union member must present a copy of the loan document used to purchase the vehicle, membership card or current statement from his/her participating credit union at the time of purchase.
Which GM vehicles are eligible?
Many new and unused 2011 GM passenger cars, SUVs, crossovers and light-duty trucks are eligible.

What is the vehicle discount?
As an eligible credit union member, you can purchase vehicles at the Preferred Price, which is a special discounted price that is less than the MSRP. How many vehicles am I eligible to purchase/lease?
You may purchase/lease an unlimited number of eligible, new and unused vehicles per year.
Can I receive this discount from Bob Maguire Chevrolet?
Yes! This program is available through all participating U.S. GM Dealers and is voluntary on the part of the dealers. Dealer participation is on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis. Bob Maguire Chevrolet does participate in the program. Please inform your Bob Maguire Chevrolet sales consultant of your intention to use the GM discount for credit union members during your first contact with him/her.
How do I get the discount?
Visit mygmdiscount.com to request your authorization number. You will need to bring the following items to Bob Maguire Chevrolet to get the discount:
- Printout of your authorization number
- Proof of program eligibility: a copy of the loan document used to purchase the vehicle, the top portion of a current statement or membership card from a participating credit union. Note: Please be sure to remove all personal and account reference numbers when providing proof of membership.
- Driver’s license

No. You can purchase through any financial institution.
Will GM share my information with any other financial institution?
No. Because you are a credit union member, GM will not share your information with any other financial institution.
Are Bob Maguire Chevrolet Dealer-installed options covered by this discount (e.g., theft-deterrent devices)?
No. Any additional dealer-installed options, conversion/upfit packages, General Motors Protection Plans and other extra-charge items will be supplied at a price agreed upon between the customer and the dealer.
Are Bob Maguire Chevrolet dealer demonstration vehicles included in this program?

Does the purchase/lease require a down payment?
Bob Maguire Chevrolet will be able to provide details on the down payment of your chosen vehicle.
How long do I have to keep the vehicle to qualify for the discount?
Eligible vehicles must be retained for a minimum of six (6) months from the vehicle delivery date.
I recently bought/leased a new GM vehicle. Can I still apply for the discount?
No. Previous purchases/leases are not eligible.
Can I share my discount?
Yes, you may share the GM discount with other members of your household.
