Chevrolet has just revealed the Chevrolet Cobalt XFE which uses revised engine calibration, low-rolling-resistance tires and other technologies to make the Cobalt even more fuel efficient.
The Cobalt FXE gets an EPA-estimated mileage rating of 25 MPG City/36 MPG HWY, which tops the current Cobalts rating of 22MPG city/32MPG HWY.
The cobalt FXE comes with a 2.2-liter DOHC inline-4 Ecotec engine that makes 148 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 152 pound-feet of torque at 4,200 rpm.
The XFE is not a seperate model, but it is available as a LS and 1LT model in coupe and sedan variations and includes the standard features; air conditioning, power outlets, and side impact airbags.
Chevrolet has not yet disclosed an MSRP for the Cobalt XFE, but we do know that it’s now available to dealers nationwide.
