The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS was actioned on eBay as a fundraiser for the College for Creative Studies in Detroit and sold for $73,000.

The Camaro SS will sell for $30,995 when General Motors Corp. begins production early next year. The high-performance Camaro will be the third to come off the assembly line.

The Camaro will have a V8 engine and six-speed manual transmission.

The V6 LS version of the Camaro will have a starting price of $22,995.
